First of all this is one of my favorite verses in the bible and its the last verse of the chapter which is a cool way to end it up. I heard it at church a while ago and it really hit me and in a way motivates me. Jesus is telling us straight forward that we will suffer in this world but that he has "overcome the world!" and there is therefore nothing to worry about! even though it is hard sometimes in this world, knowing that i have a relationship with the one who "overcame the world," i think is really powerful.
